About
About Kid Friendly Chesco
An independent guide to Chester County, PA, for parents who just want to know what's actually worth doing with their kids this weekend.
Kid Friendly Chescois built by Chester County parents, for Chester County parents. We got tired of digging through outdated event calendars and sponsored "best of" lists to figure out where to actually take our kids on a Saturday. So we built the site we wished existed.
How we keep recommendations independent
Editorial recommendations are selected for their usefulness to families. Paid advertising, when present, is labeled separately and does not buy a place in our recommendations.
The planning edition
Read our published planning editions on the site, or join the email list for future editions. We focus on who each outing suits, the practical catch, and what to check before leaving.
How places get on the list
Guides draw from curated place records, with official sites and other sources linked where available. A source check is not a personal visit. We publish firsthand observations only when an actual visit is documented, and we leave unknown details out or explain what to check. Place-record dates describe source checks, not a guarantee of today’s availability.
