What we collect
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. It's stored and sent by Beehiiv, our email provider — we don't run our own mailing list infrastructure.
We also use Gizmo Analytics, a cookieless, anonymous page analytics tool, to see which pages get read and whether planning links and signup forms are useful. Custom events contain page paths, form placement and broad browsing choices, not email addresses.
We don't run ad tracking, and we don't sell your data to anyone. Advertising, when present, is labeled separately.
Optional browsing shortcuts are stored on your device, not attached to your email subscription. You can clear them in your browser’s site-data settings. We also keep the first page of a visit in session storage to understand where signups begin.
How to unsubscribe
Every issue of the newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you're off the list immediately.
