Caln Municipal Park
Caln Township's main community park, about 10 minutes west of Downingtown in Thorndale — 20 acres with a large play structure, restrooms, and enough ball fields, courts, and a roller hockey rink to keep older kids busy while younger ones are on the playground. It's a working sports-league park (lighted baseball fields, tennis, basketball), so expect more activity than a dedicated playground on game nights.

Know before you go
This is Caln Township's community hub — lighted ball fields for the Caln Athletic Association, two pavilions, tennis and basketball courts, and a roller hockey rink surround the playground area. Restrooms are on site. Because the fields see organized league play, weekday evenings and weekend mornings in spring/summer can mean a busier parking lot than a pure playground visit would suggest.
