Hoopes Park
A 16-acre borough park on the west side of West Chester, built around tot and youth swing sets, a climbing wall, and a double-chute slide. Mature trees give decent shade around the play area. It doubles as the borough's sports park — tennis, basketball, and a baseball field are all on site — so it's a good pick if you've got kids of different ages who want different things to do.

Know before you go
The playground splits into a tot swing set and a youth swing set, plus a curved climbing wall, a 4-wheeler climber, and a double chute slide — good spread for toddlers through early elementary kids. Restrooms and a water fountain are on site. The park also hosts a StoryWalk with pages that rotate a few times a year, so it's worth a stop even for a quick stroll. Whether the play area itself is fenced isn't documented anywhere we could verify, so keep an eye on younger kids near the parking lot and ball fields.
