Kerr Park
Downingtown's main park, right along the Brandywine Creek. Good playground, open fields, and the creek access is a bonus for older kids. Well-maintained and central — a solid first stop when you're in Downingtown.

Know before you go
The playground (officially "Sky's The Limit") has rubber surfacing throughout, which makes it stroller- and wheelchair-friendly, and separate zones for toddlers (2–5) and bigger kids (5–12). The main restroom building runs seasonally (roughly May–October, weekdays only) with a portable toilet as backup the rest of the time. The play area is mostly but not fully gated, so keep an eye on younger kids near the open edges. Shaded seating surrounds the equipment even if the structures themselves get direct sun midday.
