CORRECTED FROM HALLUCINATION: this file used to describe an 'Anselma Station Playground' near the Anselma Mill — no such playground could be verified to exist. West Pikeland Township's real Pine Creek Park, a former horse farm acquired by the township in 2001, is the closest well-documented match: 70 acres with a long-standing playground, a walking/fitness track, two picnic pavilions, multi-purpose fields, disc golf, and Cayden's Corner, a memorial sand-play area added in 2023. The playground is currently slated for a DCNR-grant-funded rebuild, so expect construction disruption at some point.

Know before you go
The playground here has been a Chester Springs mainstay for over three decades and is currently being redesigned with a DCNR grant (~$300,000 project) for separate toddler/older-kid play areas and better accessibility — check the township site before visiting in case of construction closures. Cayden's Corner, a sandbox memorial near the playground, may be relocated as part of that redesign. The park also has a walking track, picnic pavilions (reservable), multi-purpose fields, and a disc golf course.
