Warwick County Park
535 acres along French Creek with two age-appropriate play areas, an ADA-accessible fishing deck, and enough trail mileage (including a stretch of the Horse-Shoe Trail) to make a real afternoon of it. Good pick if you want a county park with a playground rather than just hiking. Pavilions, a sand volleyball court, and horseshoe/quoit pits round it out for bigger family groups.

Know before you go
Warwick has two separate play areas geared to different ages, so it works for a mixed-age group in a way that a single playground doesn't. The ADA-accessible fishing deck on French Creek is a nice add-on if your kids like casting a line. The park is large (535 acres) with forests, meadows, and wetlands — the Horse-Shoe Trail (Valley Forge to the Appalachian Trail) runs through it, so hiking options range from a short loop near the day-use area to much longer treks for older kids.
